We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Plant Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to a publicly traded manufacturing company's financial health and growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, including ERP implementation, annual budget, cost reduction, multi-plant operations, internal control, budget forecasting, annual physical inventory, SAP, inventory accounting, capital spend tracking/forecasting, and month-end close. The role will also require proficiency in Blackline, Business Warehouse, Analysis for Office and internal controls. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely financial data to the senior management team.
• Oversee the implementation and management of ERP systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Manage the financial aspects of multi-plant operations, including cost reduction strategies and capital spend tracking/forecasting.
• Conduct annual physical inventory and maintain accurate inventory accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and manage the month-end close process.
• Use SAP, Blackline, Business Warehouse, and Analysis for Office for financial reporting and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and strategic goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Accounting Finance industry.
• Proven experience with ERP implementation, annual budgeting, cost reduction strategies, multi-plant operations, and internal control.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, Blackline, Business Warehouse, and Analysis for Office.
• Solid experience in inventory accounting and capital spend tracking/forecasting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a publicly traded manufacturing company is highly desirable.
