The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Business Analyst? We are looking for someone to join our technology team at MMFA. In this position, you will support important initiatives that impact our career distribution channel. You should have a strong background in the financial services industry and distribution knowledge. Your responsibilities will include gathering and documenting business requirements, understanding technical dependencies, and finding creative solutions to business and technical challenges. We are looking for someone who is agile, collaborative, and has excellent communication skills.

The Team:

Our technology team works closely with our advisor-focused distribution channel. We provide IT services that include consultation, project planning and management, business analysis, design and development, and quality assurance. Our team uses their wide range of expertise and skills to deliver solutions that enhance the financial professional experience.

The Impact:

• You will handle broad scope projects and work independently on multiple project tasks, including leading business analysis across several initiatives.
• You will define business and/or systems scope and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements, facilitating requirements gathering sessions and documenting business system requirements and use cases.
• You will collaborate closely with both business and technical stakeholders, seeking opportunities to improve our business operations.
• You will assist other team members in understanding business requirements and provide mentorship and coaching to business analysts.
• You will participate in all phases of project planning, development, and testing, collaborating with business and systems experts.
• You will lead analysis of business processes, procedures, data, and rules.
• You may provide oversight of the overall quality of work products.
• You will negotiate and influence requirements direction.
• You will lead or consult on escalated support issues and root cause analysis.
• You will provide mentorship and coaching to business analysts on the team.

The Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

The Ideal Qualifications:

• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Previous experience with financial services products and Broker Dealer.
• Ability to perform requirements management planning for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in technical writing.
• Strong testing skills.
