What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daytime/Evening Restaurant Server position at Joey's Seafood & Grill?
Current applicants must be available during the MTU breaks and at least for a year. Servers must be available for lunch and dinner.
Main job duties includes gaining knowledge about our food and beverage products, selling and serving products, including alcohol, to our customers, and tending to customers needs during their dining experience. Additional job duties include greeting and seating customers, answering phone calls, salad prep, cleaning, stocking, dishwashing, and other duties as necessary to assist customers. Must be able to accurately handle money and be willing to learn an Aloha touchscreen computer system
Candidate must be outgoing and friendly, energetic, reliable and timely, and must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Variable hours including nights and weekends. Most shifts include dinner hour, but some may include daytime hours as well. We are open 7 days a week and work with employees on scheduling around other commitments as long as business demands can be met. The ideal candidate will be available for some weekday lunch shifts but willing to work dinner shifts on a regular basis.
Experienced servers are encouraged to apply, but we will train candidates without any experience if they are willing to work hard and learn.
Servers must be at least 18 years old.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $3.93 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
