What We Do:
Block the Blaze is a youth skin cancer education program funded by the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. The program aims to educate youth about sun safety, skin cancer prevention, and self-screening. To date, Block the Blaze has educated over 675,000 youth!
Summer Intern Job Description:
Summer interns will be responsible for delivering the Block the Blaze presentation to large groups of youth in a fun, informative, professional manner. Summer Interns must have the following: valid driver's license, a free summer schedule (no summer school or other summer jobs), have strong communication skills, enjoy public speaking, have strong work ethic, have a positive attitude, comfortable driving large work van, able to go on multiple overnight trips to Northern California to present (trips booked and paid for by company), interact well with children, complete a background check & DMV check, ability to lift 25 pound boxes, and have a passion to work towards eliminating skin cancer.
