Job Duties
• Read and understand fabrication drawings.
• Maintain an efficient, clean and organized work area.
• Perform all types of edge work.
• Set up and work with router.
• Lay out and complete various types of bowl holes and cutouts.
• Hone and refinish polished faces on marble and granite.
• Cut or shape stone according to drawings and/or templates
Requirements
Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience is not required.
We are willing to train the right candidate
Language Skills
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to read and understand taper measure and measurements.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
