Basic Function
Airvac is the global leader in the Vacuum Technology System industry. The primary function of our Regional Service Technician I is to assist with and provide vacuum system installation, operation and maintenance and / or repair services for assigned vacuum sewer systems within or outside of a specific region or assigned Customer(s). Travel up to 75% of the time based on customer needs, including international travel, may be required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists with and provides field service during vacuum system installations.
- Assists with and rebuilds, repairs, and performs maintenance on vacuum collection system components.
- Accurately tests and inspects components to ensure proper operation of units.
- Communicates and interacts with department staff, municipal personnel, homeowners, contractors, customers, engineers, and others.
- Assists with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs on systems.
- Assists with system evaluations / efficiency testing.
- Accurately documents detail-specific service in CRM software.
- Performs various other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
