General Liability Associate Attorney - NM

Jones, Skelton & Hochuli (JSH) is the fourth largest law firm in Arizona. Founded in 1983, we are headquartered in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, with offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Salt Lake City, Utah. JSH defends clients of all sizes, across multiple industries in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. Today, JSH has over 100 attorneys and 110 legal support staff, many of whom have spent their entire career at JSH.

JSH is seeking an Associate attorney with 1-5 years of litigation experience to join our General Liability practice in our New Mexico office. Prior experience in insurance defense is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of civil litigation and a desire to provide exceptional client service. Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent academic credentials. Qualifications:

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of New Mexico
• 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense
• Experience with discovery, disclosures, taking/defending depositions, drafting/arguing motions, and court appearances
• Excellent client service, oral advocacy, and written communication skills
