We are seeking an Office Assistant to provide administrative support to the Dean of Students and assist in the smooth operation of our Christian school's administrative office. As the Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient office procedures and supporting the Dean in various administrative tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administrative Support: Assist the Dean of Students in managing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, preparing documents, and organizing files.
2. Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Dean's office and students, parents, faculty, and staff, providing friendly and professional assistance in person, over the phone, and via email.
3. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student attendance, disciplinary actions, and other relevant information, in accordance with school policies.
4. Data Entry: Assist in entering and updating student information in the school's database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
5. Clerical Tasks: Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and distributing documents to ensure efficient office operations.
6. Event Support: Assist in the planning and coordination of school events, including student orientations, parent-teacher conferences, and special assemblies, by helping with logistics and communication.
7. Student Support: Provide support to students as needed, including directing them to appropriate resources, assisting with forms and paperwork, and addressing inquiries or concerns. Some discipline assistance required.
8. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the administrative team to support the overall mission and goals of the school.
QUALIFICATIONS:
