Livability Media, a division of Journal Communications, is in need of a Business Development Executive to join our team to make a huge impact in growing our business and brand. The ideal candidate will have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and making cold calls. In this role communication through technology is key to cultivating strong relationships with prospects, from first contact until you close the deal. This is a hybrid work position in which you will have the opportunity to work remotely and from our office. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd like to meet you.

To be successful in this role, collaboration between marketing and sales are essential and also strong business acumen and research skills. You must be pleasant, professional, and persistent to represent our company with the highest standards. If you are energetic, flexible, and a self-starter and enjoy people, you will thrive in this environment.

Requirements

  • In addition to hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, experience with CRM software, engaging ZOOM presentations, and ability to build client relationships are required.
  • A college degree is also required.
