Description We are seeking a motivated insurance agent (220 licensed) with an entrepreneurial spirit to oversee a robust portfolio of clients. The hired candidate will be in charge of giving current policyholders excellent customer service by resolving billing issues, amending policies, and making policy suggestions. Additional tasks include generating policy quotes and providing coverage advice for new and potential customers. Our ideal hire is enthusiastic, intuitive, organized, and has at least six months property & casualty insurance experience, along with a strong ability to build excellent rapport with clients. Responsibilities •Update bookkeeping systems, customer records, and sales databases to report your monthly and/or quarterly progress to goals to stakeholders •Work with policyholders to develop and deliver risk management strategies that fit their individual profiles •Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs •Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty •Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction Qualifications • Hold an active Property & Casualty (2-20) License •Superb analytical, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are needed to succeed in this role •Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management and any state and federal regulations •Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus •High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
