As the Sales Manager, you will take a hands-on approach, running sales leads, coaching your team in the field, and driving sales growth. You'll oversee a high-performing sales team and play a key role in achieving sales targets while helping expand our presence in the Charlotte market.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of sales designers and client experience specialists
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor sales professionals to maximize their potential
- Conduct ride-alongs with sales reps 4-5 times per week to provide in-field coaching and ensure adherence to best practices
- Handle cancel-save appointments to retain revenue opportunities
- Prepare and lead impactful weekly sales meetings
- Develop and implement sales methodologies and lead rehash programs
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify performance trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with senior management to refine the company's strategic plan and align sales objectives
- Proven Sales Leadership: Minimum 5 years of experience in home improvement sales, with a track record of leading successful teams in a $10M company
- In-Home Sales Expertise: Experience in one-call-close (exterior/interior home remodeling)
- Results-Oriented Leader: Adept at motivating teams, improving systems, and exceeding sales goals
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to contribute to company-wide plans while executing daily operations
- Hands-On Manager: Thrives in the field, working alongside the team to drive results
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for on-the-road responsibilities
