The Warehouse Manager of the JSI Maryland facility will oversee operational activities at the warehouse, including but not limited to all loading, unloading, receiving, storage, maintenance, HAACP & OSHA Compliance, IT, and human resources. Their duties include supporting the hiring and onboarding of all employees in conjunction with the Corporate HR Team. This position is responsible for training and managing the workforce as well as enhancing and enforcing all SOP’s to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities :

• Enforce all Company policies and procedures. Manage & report accordingly.
• Oversee the entire operation as stated in the role description above.
• Foster an environment and culture of teamwork, diversity and ownership amongst all employees and departments.
• Analyze metrics to identify areas of improvement and drive productivity.
• Work with leadership and corporate office to maintain and enhance operational excellence.
• Develops warehouse operations systems and SOP’s by analyzing process workflow and implementing changes.
• Manage employee’s work and personal time off schedule.
• Flexibility of schedule including Saturday support either in office or via phone / email.
• Communicate daily operation stats and events to leadership with both standardized reporting and ad-hoc updates and insight.
• Work with Transportation management to ensure all end of day / driver wrap up procedures are followed and documentation complete (ie : driver check-in, returns processing, facility lock-up, etc.)
