The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management, inventory control, kitchen experience, staff management, experience in catering and POS, etc.
Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff.
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage staff and shifts
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork.
2. Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service and workflow.
- Implement and uphold company policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Utilize Square POS system effectively for order processing and inventory management
- Oversee catering events and banquet operations
3. Financial Performance:
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and profit margins.
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
4. Customer Service:
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences through quality service.
- Address customer complaints and feedback effectively.
- Promote a customer-first culture within the restaurant.
5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food and supplies.
6. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular staff training on food safety and sanitation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the restaurant.
7. Marketing and Community Engagement:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies.
- Engage with the local community to build relationships and drive traffic.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the food service industry
- Proficiency in supervising staff and maintaining high-quality service standard
- Strong knowledge of training development and implementation
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up certain weights.
