Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Type: Regular Full-time

Work Location: Knoxville, TN

Reports to: Deliverables Manager

In-Office Position

OVERVIEW:

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for reviewing all media prior to delivery to our clients to ensure it meets all technical Production Hive and broadcast standards. The Quality Control Technician is also responsible for the delivery of all media to our clients. The Quality Control Technician reports to the Deliverables Manager and is part of team of other QC techs.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Review all media with appropriate checklist to ensure media meets all of our standards prior to delivery. Media includes but is not limited to: broadcast masters, textless masters, internationals, snap-in content, promo requests, web content, sizzle reels, etc.

• Create detailed quality control reports and share with production and online teams to address any notes prior to delivery.

• Deliver media to clients via online transfers: network portals, Box, MediaShuttle, etc.

• Communicate with network with any fixes that need to be addressed.

• Communicate priorities and deadlines with and at the direction of the Deliverables Manager.

• Work closely with online teams to ensure proper backups of all masters.

• Additional duties at the direction of the Deliverables Manager.

• Excellent ability to work under pressure and interact in a professional manner

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines

• Post Production / Television Experience preferred but not required.

Software Requirements:

• Proficient with Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs

• Proficient with Box.com and MediaShuttle

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma required

• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime on as-needed basis, with short-notice

• Ability to work department hours of 9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Ability to assist Deliverables team when necessary
