Description

The Location Assistant researches locations for shoots that fit the details of the script. A great attitude, charisma and willingness to help are a high priority! 
 
Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Locate and photograph potential locations within budget and submit to Producer, Director, and Director of Photography 

• Make Producer, Director, Props, and Director of Photography aware of any “limitations” made by home/business owner 

• Make Producer aware of noise issues or animals on property 

• Inform neighbors of any exterior, late night, loud, or police involved shoot days 

• After location decision is made, obtain signed location release prior to shoot day 

• Work with Producer and Production Management in the event of any damages to location 

• Mark out space for crafty (if applicable)

• Notable organizational skills and attention to detail 

• Proficient in ability to work under pressure and interact in a professional and ethical manner 

• Exceptional interpersonal skills 

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software 

• A good working knowledge of locations in Knoxville 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Ability to be comfortable with cold calls and communicating with strangers 

• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime on as-needed basis, with short-notice 

• Ability to work department hours of 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday 

• Ability to work shoot hours Sunday through Saturday at different start call times and extended work days 

• Must know Excel, Onedrive, and Microsoft Office Suite
