This -bed, Trauma II hospital is looking for a full-time, permanent Lab Manager. If youre looking to lead a team of highly-qualified professionals who are committed to providing effective and efficient lab results, this could be the place for you!
DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the daily operations of the department and supervises staff.
Assists in selection of personnel for hire.
Performance management, and makes recommendations on discipline and terminations.
Achieves ongoing compliance with regulatory agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science
Meets CLIA requirements for General Supervisor
Registered in accordance with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT or equivalent)
2 to 5 years experience
