Position Overview:
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the property. You will be responsible for overseeing leasing activities, resident relations, and general property management tasks. Your ability to build rapport with students, provide excellent customer service, and manage administrative duties will contribute to the overall success of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of the student housing community
- Coordinate and manage leasing efforts, including conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
- Address and resolve resident inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Assist with move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents
- Maintain accurate records of leasing, occupancy, and financial transactions
- Help manage vendor relationships and oversee property maintenance and repairs
- Plan and execute community events and activities to engage residents
- Enforce community policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
- Support marketing efforts, including social media and outreach campaigns, to attract potential residents
- Perform inspections of units and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily property management, leasing, or related field - student housing experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in property management software - Entrata is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evenings as needed
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
