Summary:
Provide services to meet the psychosocial, emotional, and developmental needs of patients (infants to young adults) and families.
Education And Credentials
Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Child Life or meets the educational requirements to apply for Child Life Professional Certification required. Completion of a internship as meets the requirements for a Child Life Certification by the Child Life Council required.
Experience
Other information:
Ability to effectively utilize web-based programs to perform essential functions of position including but not limited to MicroSoft Office Products i.e. Word, Excel & Power Point. Experience in a health care and/or childcare setting. Training in Death, Dying, and Bereavement preferred. Must be certified under the specifications for Child Life Certification by the Child Life Council within two years of employment required.
