Kane, Pugh, Knoell, Troy & Kramer is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support in our Blue Bell office. Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Prefer 2-3 years of Legal experience. Salary commensurate with experience.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Type, format, and edit documents.
- Proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and content; make appropriate changes.
- Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and documents using electronic filing systems that require understanding of the documents and independent judgment.
- Create, manage, maintain and access information in electronic and hardcopy formats.
- Assist with opening and closing of new matters including conflicts checks.
- Maintain attorney calendar; plan and schedule conferences, teleconferences, and travel; record and monitor deadlines.
- Facilitate e-filing of court documents;
- Provide administrative support (copy, scanning, faxing, etc.).
- Answer telephone, greet clients, respond to and assists clients, provide information and assure appropriate follow-through and/or resolution.
- Handle all other administrative duties as assigned.
- Must exhibit a high degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented work environment utilizing excellent judgment, and decision-making skills.
