Karing Dental Center is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Wood Dale, IL

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and experienced dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the dental industry, a strong understanding of the role dentistry plays in the health care system, is skilled at 4 handed dentistry, maintaining infection control, and is committed to making our patients feel comfortable in our office.

The right candidate will be skilled at interacting with people and is comfortable working in collaboration with a team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires flexibility and adaptability, a commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of dental assisting experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail, very organized
  • Ability to contribute positively in team settings
  • Ability to shift directions as the business needs may dictate

Responsibilities

  • Take X-rays, includes Pano and FMX
  • Chairside assist, 4 handed dentistry
  • Document procedures notes
  • Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
  • Adhering to infection control policies and procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, operatories, and other equipment
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
