Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting the Facilities Engineering (FE) Department as part of a rapidly expanding GMP Contract Manufacturing Organization. Facilities Engineers have FE responsibility for the entire area they serve. They are expected to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in their respective areas. These areas include all systems throughout the site.
Facilities Engineers are responsible for ensuring the site is well maintained and ready for use. This includes overseeing/coordinating the following: contractors to accomplish architectural repairs, site services (such as security, landscaping, pest control, janitorial, etc.), space planning & utilization, site drawings and working on CAPEX projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities includes the ability to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of the site. The Facilities Engineer is responsible for completion of completion of Change Controls, Deviations, CAPAs, Risk Analysis (FMEAs and Criticality Assessments), SOPs and other documentation.
Ensures FE Department compliance measures are maintained, all documentation meets regulatory requirements, and is completed according to determined timelines. The system owner may also lead or act as a member for special projects as determined by FE Management in support of continued improvement of site and/or department goals and initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
$91,360.00 / yr - $125,620.00 / yr
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range. - High School diploma or equivalent required and Associates Degree or higher strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and strong communication skills within all levels of an organization.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in 1 key area of responsibility (Facilities, Utilities, GMP Support) and ability to lead and train on day-to-day process, along with day-to-day knowledge in one of the other areas.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technical writing (Change Controls, Deviations/CAPAs, SOPs, Job Plans, FMEAs, Criticality Assessments, etc.).
- Demonstrated administrator knowledge of computer systems in the area of expertise (for example BMS for Facilities, CMMS for GMP Support, Maptician for Facilities, etc.).
- Ability to support internal and external audits.
