Engages with prospective clients to thoroughly understand their logistics and warehousing requirements, delivering customized, cost-effective solutions for shipping, warehousing, and fulfillment. Provides precise quotations promptly, ensuring a seamless client experience aligned with service excellence.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sources new sales opportunities through leads follow up
  • Handles inbound calls and emails and provide callers/senders with service and price information.
  • Understands customer needs and requirements
  • Researches route options, vendors, freight requirements and other relevant information about to find the most cost-efficient solutions to our customers and prospects.
  • Negotiates freight costs with carriers and agents and works on special project quotes as well; keeps close relationships with vendors.
  • Prepares shipment and fulfillment quotations to customers, clarifies questions, and follows up to close the deal.
  • Organizes quote requests and internal orders, prioritizes, and executes them within their respective turnaround times.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts.
  • Follows detailed instructions from SOP and Sales targets Diligently.
  • Gains and retains extensive knowledge in the freight forwarding industry as well as detailed comprehension of customer's requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by team leader/management.




Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.)
  • Proven Sales Experience in Freight Forwarding and/or Customs Brokerage industry. Minimum of 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the freight forwarding, customs brokerage, logistics, or supply chain industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven experience in prospecting and lead generation
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Skilled in managing the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing, while maintaining an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline.
  • Experience using CRM tools to track and manage leads and opportunities is preferred.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills during the work all time.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities.
  • Versatility and a willingness to work within constantly changing industry.
  • Proactiveness and attention to details.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in uncertainty and in complex environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial commitments and expectations with
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
