Ability to Multitask. Efficiently complete scheduled Weatherization jobs; includes but is not limited to, installing insulation, window and door air sealing, weather stripping, light bulb changes, placing smoke detectors, caulking, replacing windows and doors, conducting skilled labor (as permissible per certifications) such as installing hot water heaters, working on or replacing furnace or cooling systems, and associated work including electrical, pipe and duct work
Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific Duties:
Oversee Weatherization Assistant Crew Leader and Crew Members
Provide technical assistance and direction to all crew members
Efficiently complete scheduled Weatherization jobs; includes but is not limited to, installing insulation, window and door air sealing, weather stripping, light bulb changes, placing smoke detectors, caulking, replacing windows and doors, conducting skilled labor (as permissible per certifications) such as installing hot water heaters, working on or replacing furnace or cooling systems, and associated work including electrical, pipe and duct work
Set up equipment as it pertains to individual job completion
Ensure Weatherization jobs stay within approved average amounts
Complete purchase orders for materials for jobs as needed
Complete on-site record keeping and other compliance procedures
Complete all training requirements and maintains updates
Supervise volunteers, employment services workers, and other non-staff as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
Practice safety in all aspects of the job, maintain confidentiality and security of both staff and customers, and adhere to program standards regarding communicable diseases and blood born pathogens.
Cooperatively work with staff, community service providers, funding sources, and other resources to promote agency programs, vision, and goals.
Attend all staff meetings, training and other meetings deemed necessary by the supervisor to gain knowledge of programs to ensure effective delivery of services and/or required by the agency; this includes, management team and strategic planning.
Maintain necessary records to prepare reports as required through maintenance of databases.
Perform other duties as assigned as it relates to the delivery of services made available by related programs.

Possess the ability to maintain a high volume WX work orders
Possess excellent skills for effective oral and written communication

Possess the ability to work with private industry and a variety of programs and agencies as they relate to the funding source’s mission
Possess the ability to work with a wide range of people
Possess the knowledge of the management process
Possess the ability to recognize problems and facilitate solutions
Possess the ability to market program services to the private sector and community leaders
Possess the ability to provide excellent customer service on a direct basis
Possess basic computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Competency in use of email and Internet

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. Five years work experience in construction or similar field required; Or, a contractor, electrical license, and/or heat and A/C certification and two years work experience required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required; two years supervisory experience required; willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Additional Requirements: Valid Kentucky driver’s license
Salary : $17 - $22
