Accountable for:
Strategic Planning and Leadership
- Develop and drive the organization’s talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives, growth plans and culture.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to forecast workforce needs and design proactive recruitment solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on market trends, workforce planning, and recruitment strategies.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices to position the company as a leader in attracting top talent.
- Partner with leadership team and L&D to support succession planning efforts.
Recruitment Process Optimization
- Directs end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring efficiency, consistency and compliance.
- Implement innovative methods/programs to attract high-quality candidates across diverse channels.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, etc., and candidate experience.
- Leverage technology, analytics and insights to assess recruitment effectiveness to identify areas for improvement.
Team Management and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for the talent acquisition team.
- Set performance goals, provide feedback, and regular training and development opportunities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with department leaders and field operations to understand talent needs and create tailored recruitment solutions.
- Act as primary point of contact for executive-level and director-level talent sourcing.
- Build a strong pipeline of candidates through networking, partnership, and proactive outreach.
- Direct the use of recruitment agencies and facilitate contract negotiations.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with employment laws and organizational policies.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics, trends and insights to inform leadership decision-making.
- Oversee/monitor recruitment budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 5 years leading a team. Construction industry a plus.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable recruitment strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing tools, and HR software.
- Experience in diverse recruiting strategies with a commitment to creating inclusive hiring practices.
- Knowledge of labor market trends and workforce planning methodologies.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth industries/environment.
