Job Duties
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Master of Science in Nursing and two years of full-time teaching experience at or above the Associate Degree level. At minimum of five years of nursing experience within the immediate past seven years.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer a candidate with at least two years of teaching experience with face-to-face and/or online modalities and experience with a learning management system (Blackboard or similar LMS) and other instructional technology. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of long-term care experience.

- Serve as the Nursing Program Administrator/Administrator of Record per Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) requirements for both the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing programs.
- Facilitate and approve all reports and accreditation materials required by governing or accrediting agencies.
- Oversee Nursing program matters such as, but not limited to, supervision of faculty and staff, other personnel matters, student concerns, curriculum, and resources.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate and collaborative, comprehensive systematic plans for program evaluation.
- Maintain communications with faculty and staff.
- Provide regular updates and communication regarding the Nursing Programs with the Associate Dean of Health Science Education
- Provide strategic planning and implementation that supports the goals and outcomes of the Nursing programs.
- Maintain authority and responsibility in all areas of the nursing programs listed in KBN regulations.
- Prepare and administer the program budgets.

- Assist faculty in continuous quality improvement for teaching effectiveness and obtaining the desired student learning and program outcomes.
- Supervise the development of instructional materials and assist in researching the effectiveness of the instructional program, consistent with the college's philosophy and objectives and the requirements of external and/or regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate the program schedules for course offerings, assign classes to faculty, etc.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and civility.
- Cooperate with college administration to disseminate and implement college policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong community support for the program.
- Adhere to administrative protocol, policies, and confidentiality required in the academic environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
