Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, including the use of tools such as ohmmeters and logic controllers.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, utilizing schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to develop efficient maintenance strategies and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership in training new staff on maintenance procedures and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including the use of ohmmeters and logic controllers.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Experience in welding and fabrication is highly desirable.
