The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that our product is moved within our warehouse in a safe and efficient manner by forklift operation and physically loading/unloading our trucks. They are also responsible for proper inventory being maintained, and good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld.
Prior forklift experience is required. Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, twist the body as needed to operate various types of industrial equipment. Must be able to read and recognize English alpha and numeric characters to read style numbers and RF devices. Ability to pass periodic written and driving tests to demonstrate knowledge of equipment operation is required.
Not all areas of the plant and warehouse are climate controlled and exposure to heat and/or cold can occur. The Associate is exposed to floating cardboard dust particles used in the manufacturing, storage and inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
