What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Instructor position at Keefe at Night?
Job Summary
We are currently seeking dedicated and knowledgeable instructors for our Electrical Code Modular Program. As an instructor, you will have an opportunity to share your knowledge with adults who are starting out in the field. You will be responsible for teaching 1 or 2 Modules during our Spring and Fall semesters. The ideal candidate would be available 2-3 nights a week after 5pm or on Saturday mornings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans based on the Massachusetts Electrical Code that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach adult learners in a classroom setting, utilizing effective instructional methods.
- Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Requirements
- Massachusetts Masters Electrician License.
- Enjoy talking about your trade.
- Desire to share your trade with the next generation of electricians.
- Teaching experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
