Industrial Maintenance Technician

For more than 100 years, the Oatey family of brands has included some of the most recognized names in residential and commercial plumbing products. We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join us at our manufacturing facility in Winchester, NH. In this position you will support and sustain our facility equipment to improve operations of production lines, complete preventative maintenance requests and account for machine downtime and OEE metrics for each department. This is a 1st shift position.

Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot and complete basic and complex repairs of hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems

· Work in a team environment and assist in departmental problem-solving operations and develop a customer/supplier relationship with the production teams

· Install equipment and various components such as motors, pumps, compressors, etc.

· Process and complete all Preventative Maintenance requests for the respective departments in a timely manner

· Answer calls for production support and assist in changeovers and setups

· Use a variety of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments and other shop tools and equipment

· Support Lean Manufacturing goals, including all 6S processes

· Follow safety guidelines and promote safety in all work areas

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; PLC classes and/or relevant technical certifications a plus

· 2 years of production maintenance experience required

· Ability to complete company-provided Haz Mat training course and to comply with Lock Out Tag Out procedures for all equipment

· Mechanical aptitude to perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs/rebuilds

· Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and ability to troubleshoot and apply basic principles to PLC, digital electronic and electrical devises and read AC and DC circuits

· Ability to take initiative in solving problems, multi-task in fast paced settings and be flexible to changing needs

· Strong communication and customer service skills with a high attention to detail
