Material Handler/Lift Operator 2nd Shift

For more than 100 years, the Oatey family of brands has included some of the most recognized names in residential and commercial plumbing products. We are seeking several dedicated Material Handler/Lift Operators to join us on the second shift at our manufacturing facility in Winchester, NH. In this position, you will be responsible for pulling orders, ensuring we have the right inventory to get our products shipped on time and in full.

Responsibilities:

· Pull raw material request orders and properly scan in RF device, supply required consumables to production areas and dispose of waste from the production floor

· Return material to the warehouse and consolidate into existing bays

· Follow safety procedures, wear required PPE, participate in safety events and maintain good housekeeping

· Report any scrap, damaged product or quality problems immediately

Qualifications:

· 1-4 years of experience in a warehouse setting

· Skills in operating a forklift, reach truck and order picker are preferred

· Ability to complete training and operate an order picker within first 3 months

· Ability to perform proper freight handling and meet weight limit for picking at elevated locations

· Demonstrated knowledge of all hazardous shipping rules and regulations

· Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in the English language

· Experience collaborating with teammates to complete projects and tasks
