Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with agency regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management and the board of directors.
- Assess and enhance existing financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to develop solutions for identified issues.
- Stay current on best practices in auditing and nonprofit finance.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding audit processes and financial compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or relevant certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on nonprofits being highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a mission-driven environment.

Salary : $78,400 - $96,300
