Responsibilities

Supports all aspects of employee benefits and benefit information: resolving insurance benefit, reporting and reconciliation problems; providing information to new and current employees, providers and/or administrators; ensuring employee proof of coverage and accurate billing. Input of employees’ data changes related to benefit plan changes and employee status. Completes timely resolution of all employee inquiries and issues. Support all functions of employee benefits administration Performs new employee orientation i.e., presenting employee benefits overview.

Salary Range: $44,995.40 to $59,055.15 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 (A = basics; B = preferred)

Education

A.

Associate degree from an accredited institution or comparable work experience will be accepted on a year-for-year basis.

B.

Bachelor of Human Resources or similar course of study

Experience

A. 

2 years of benefit administration experience. (health and welfare and/or retirement) OR 4 years advanced clerical support in a human resources, finance, payroll and / or clinical environment.

B.

 Knowledge of employee benefits and related processes and functions.

Licenses

A.

Special Skills

A. 

Proficient Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

B.

Prior Lawson database experience. 

Other

A.

Excellent customer service and organizational skills, good problem-solving skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision..

Must be able to speak, write, and read English.

 HR seminars, workshops and/or certifications.
