Job Overview
We are seeking an Electric Motor Winder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment repair. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of electrical systems and components including motors, generators, and other electrical apparatus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, dismantle, rewind, and reassemble electric motors, generators, and other electrical machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical winding failures and other related issues.
- Measure winding resistance, insulation resistance, and perform other electrical tests.
- Perform coil winding and repair work on armatures, rotors, and field coils.
- Clean, varnish, and bake rewound components for optimal performance and longevity.
- Operate tools and equipment such as winding machines, soldering irons, and testing equipment.
- Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals to complete tasks accurately.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment. - Document and maintain records of all repairs, maintenance, and testing. - Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electric Motor Winder or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electric motor winding techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in using hand tools, winding machines, and testing instruments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
