What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Network Engineer position at Kennedy Technologies?

We are located in the greater Lansing, Michigan area. Our range of large clients use our products and services throughout North America.
As the Senior Network Engineer, you will blend your programming and network engineering skills to work with our project-based manufacturing clients. You will design and troubleshoot client networks and manage server installations. In addition, you will have database programming and occasional software programming responsibilities.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science to include 10 years’ experience.
- An interest in mentoring junior engineers and developers.
- Experience with supporting manufacturing processes (controls for material handling equipment in manufacturing).
- Ardent desire to learn and help evolve our proprietary technology stack.
- Ability and willingness to travel to clients throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico.
- A valid US passport.
