What are the responsibilities and job description for the Costume Director position at Kennett High School?
Kennett High School is seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic, Costume Director for the Musical.
- Work with directors to plan how many costumes will be needed
- Prepare sketches or pictures "mockups" of designs of costumes
- Attend production meetings
- Measure the actors
- Obtain necessary supplies
- Attend appropriate rehearsals
- Prepare costumes (repairing, laundering, and pressing) before each show
- Return all costumes to appropriate places.
- Successful candidates should believe in the importance of the impact of extra-curricular activities in a child's K-12 experience.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Requirements:
- Must be available on nights and weekends
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work in a team setting
