Truck and Equipment Washer (Swing Shift)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Truck and Equipment Washer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role is essential in ensuring that vehicles and machinery are clean, safe, and ready for operation.

Duties
- Use pressure washer and other cleaning equipment to clean large trucks and construction equipment

- Keep shop clean

- Assist mechanics with basic maintenance on occasion

- Inspection and Reporting:

• Inspect vehicles and equipment for damage or maintenance needs during cleaning.
• Report any issues, such as leaks, damages, or mechanical problems, to supervisors promptly.

 - Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow environmental regulations regarding waste disposal and water usage.

- Other Duties:

• Assist with yard or facility maintenance when needed.
• Support the team with additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Will require lifting to 75 lbs., climbing ladders, use of hand/power tools, bending, stooping, and wearing proper safety equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
