Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Business Office Manager to join our team! The Business Office Manager will oversee general activities of all business office functions at the community. The Business Office Manager is responsible for the accuracy of information within the accounting systems, which includes Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, evaluate and monitor Business Office operations.
- Leads a team of Concierge personnel.
- Responsible for all accounting related to documenting, preparing, and distributing resident statements.
- Participates in meetings in coordination with clinical nursing, home office and therapy teams.
- Maintain resident trust fund according to Federal, State, and facility guidelines.
- Coordinate with nursing/admission to collect census information to ensure accurate and timely reporting within the billing software system.
- Responsible for the smooth running of all business office functions to include; accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, reviews financial reports, customer service and resident inquiries.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient with computer systems and ability to use Microsoft Office or related software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.
- Financial management and stewardship of resources
- Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.
- One to three years of professional Accounting or Finance experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable preferred.
- Understanding of Medicare & Medicaid Guidelines.
