Job Summary:
- The Director of Surgical Services is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the Surgical Services Department.
- This includes overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management.
Qualifications:
- BSN required
- MSN or masters in related field preferred
- 7 years of experience in the field required with Surgical Services experience highly preferred
- 3 years of management or supervisory experience preferred
- Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
