Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple internal and client deadlines
Play a key role in planning and executing account activities, including events, media relations, social media, program implementation, measurement and reporting, etc.
Demonstrate ability to effectively develop a full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, status reports, etc.
Develop and monitor program plans and budgets; report status to team leads regularly
Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients' businesses and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting strategically focused programs and recommendations.
Be flexible and facilitate teamwork within the account team, coordinate team resources to create opportunities for junior staff to take on more responsibility, and fully utilize and integrate agency resources to create best-in-class teams for your clients.
Be the junior team member's point of contact for media questions and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred
Three to five years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects and teams
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
Comfortable presenting and being client-facing
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
