Job Description: We are seeking a Data Operations Specialist to support our Operations department. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our data-related tools and workflows, working closely with our data engineering team under the COO. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in data operations, who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and wants to learn how to apply data to create operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Support reporting of corporate metrics/KPI’s and dashboards that help management make critical business decisions.
- Support Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Reporting Processes
- Account Reconciliation for Portfolio Performance Reporting
- Manage and optimize data workflows to support operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of data tools.
- Monitor data systems and troubleshoot any operational issues.
- Assist in the implementation of new data tools and systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data operations processes.
- Provide training and support to team members on data tools and procedures.
- Basic IT Support: Provide fundamental desktop support to coworkers, including troubleshooting common issues
- Data Quality Assurance: Regularly review and analyze raw datasets across various systems, identifying and rectifying any errors, discrepancies, or missing information. This includes meticulous data auditing to ensure accuracy and completeness, and performing necessary data entry to fill gaps.
