What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machinist/Tool and Die Maker position at Keystone Powdered Metal Company?
Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for full-time Machinists/Tool & Die Makers who will be working in our Saint Marys, PA location. This person will report to the Manager of Tooling Operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, GD & T, interpret drawings, understand specifications and work within close tolerances
- Ability to apply mathematics in the machine tool trade
- Knowledge of materials used in the metal working industry
Applicant should be competent in performing tasks in any of the following equipment/operations:
Manual Lathes, Manual Mills, CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, CNC Machining Center, Surface Grinders, Cylindrical Grinders, Jig Grinders, Form Grinding, Wire EDM and Sinker EDM, Fitting and Polishing.
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
