RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer for a long-term 100% remote assignment. You will be joining a mature salesforce environment where we look to maximize the functionality and apply the latest features. You will serve as a technical consultant and at times as a lead to provide and support the Salesforce application that meets or exceeds the business need.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Actively contributes to the development of solutions and ideas that add value
* Engages with system users and business analysts to identify system enhancements and/or new applications to meet business needs
* Creates quality design documents to illustrate how the system works
* Writes clear and detailed technical specifications for developme1nt of the application
* As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will produce products on schedule
* Produces elegant and efficient designs, high performance and scalable code that will allow for easy extension to future needs
* Produces codes of high quality and reliability - strong quality code metrics
* Effectively performs code walk-throughs
* In conjunction with Quality Services, proactively performs extensive system testing to ensure that the systems work efficiently and are developed following the applicable development methodology
* Unit tests to ensure accuracy
* Tracks record of identifying largest risk areas and driving resolution of these issues
* May lead the design, development, and implementation of applications
* May be responsible for providing accurate and timely input to Project
* Manager or lead regarding status of project-related technical tasks
* Design, develop test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform leveraging design patterns (standards solution specific)
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-6 years of overall IT experience and hands on experience in developing and delivering solutions on Salesforce Force.com platform including apex, triggers, Batch Apex, Visualforce, and Integration with external systems
* Depth of experience in Sales, Service and Case Management is needed
* Experience in Service Cloud and Sales Cloud
* Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations
* Possess extensive knowledge and expertise with Salesforce and in the use of project management methodologies, tools, resource management practices, change management and project reporting
* Able to effectively estimate tasks, cost and duration of activities needed to develop solutions
* Self-starter able to work effectively with limited supervision
* Ability to work with functional teams through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle independent of the delivery methodology chosen
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Lightning experience, LWC (Lightning Web Component), Apex, Triggers, Visual Force, Lightning Aura components preferred
* Experience with Agile development practices a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
