Job Summary
The IT Quality Assurance Analyst develops custom web and mobile applications to support the business needs; applications are a mixture of external and internal use. This position will be the liaison between IT Programmers and the Business users to resolve day-to-day issues and system functionality questions, perform quality system and regression testing, and provide education to impacted users. This position works closely with the IT Programmers to ensure newly developed functionality is properly tested, performs as intended, and implemented successfully.

Essential Functions Job Responsibilities
- First line of support for Ki application issues.
- Work closely with IT Programmers to resolve Ki application issues.
- Develop educational material and communication (provide training if necessary).
- Understand use cases and develop applicable test plans, standard testing templates along with project specific testing templates.
- Perform system testing on new code to ensure new features/updates function as designed; work to anticipate users’ actions or “work arounds” to find hidden system defects.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code did not break existing functionality.
- Work with programmers to resolve testing defects and document steps to reproduce.
- Track code changes in DEV and release date (coordinate change control).
- Perform basic Ki application changes.
- Write/run simple reports, database extracts.
- Develop internal IT application documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement tasks to reduce business dependency on support.
- Contribute to feature design discussions in the interest of testability and intuitive user experience.
- Ensure and follow safety requirements and standards.
- Maintain a safe, neat and orderly work environment.
- Perform all duties in a manner that follows, demonstrates, and promotes Company’s values.

- Associate degree in Information Technology preferred.
- Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Information Technology field.
- Experience writing test cases and validating software functionality.
- Intermediate to advance experience with Microsoft Office programs and other enterprise software.
- Preferred – other software / technology
- Jira or similar project management tool
- Confluence
- Zephyr (TM4J) or similar test case management tool
- LucidChart or similar flow-charting tool
- Familiarity with SQL Queries
- XML
- JSON
- Position is a remote role; may require onsite attendance on occasion in a temperature-controlled office and manufacturing environment.
