Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Afternoon Assistant Teacher to join our team. This role involves working with various age groups, from infants to school-aged children, during the afternoon hours. The ideal candidate will embody our core values of Listen, Learn, Lead, and be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students. Ideal candidate will be able to work from 2pm-6pm daily with potential for additional hours earlier in the day if desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in classrooms for various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.
- Assist with classroom management, lesson implementation, and student engagement.
- Help create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Drive and assist with the pick-up of after-school children as needed.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the afternoon program.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups.
- Ideal candidates will have a Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive for after-school pick-ups.
