Kinaxis has a well-established team of Sales and Professional Services professionals across the US. Our newest office is based in Irving’s Las Colinas development and will serve as a centralized hub where employees and customers from across the US can come together to work towards solving some of the biggest challenges facing supply chains.

This is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in the United States.

About The Team

The Sr. Director, Customer Education will lead the strategic direction, development, and management of our global customer education initiatives. This role requires an experienced leader with a vision for future-proofing our training programs and driving innovation in course design, certification, and customer education content. Reporting to the VP of Training and Enablement, this leader will be responsible for ensuring our courses and certifications are current, relevant, and impactful, while meeting the diverse needs of our customers and partners.

What you will do

  • Define and lead the strategic direction for our customer education programs, with a strong focus on innovation, future-readiness, and competitive differentiation.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of customer-facing training programs, including public-facing courseware, custom training solutions, and certification pathways.
  • Ensure training programs align with our organizational objectives, enhancing customer satisfaction and delivering measurable business impact.
  • Develop and maintain scalable processes to ensure efficient development, maintenance, and management of training content and certification offerings.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across various functions to deliver best-in-class content for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent Kinaxis at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish brand authority and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Develop and execute strategies to effectively promote our training programs to target audiences, enhancing awareness, engagement, and adoption.
  • Track, analyze, and report on program KPIs, using data-driven insights to refine and enhance the effectiveness of our courses and certifications.
  • Prepare and present strategic program updates, highlighting successes, challenges, and future priorities to senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Partner teams to ensure alignment and relevance in training materials, supporting both customer enablement and internal knowledge needs.
  • Identify and engage with third-party vendors, contractors, and partners as needed to support innovative program delivery.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in a training leadership role, ideally within the software or technology sectors.
  • Proven expertise in leading large-scale training programs with a strong track record of driving innovation in customer education.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with experience overseeing complex, cross-functional projects and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to drive insights and measure program effectiveness.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training delivery platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience in innovating training and enablement within a P&L environment, balancing strategic vision with operational accountability.
