Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves engaging with students, implementing curriculum, and promoting literacy education while supporting the developmental needs of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement with Early Foundations Curriculum already in place.
- Assess student progress through Brigance Testing and Parent-Teacher Conferences which provides feedback to parents.
- Utilize effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members.
- Keep a clean and sanitized classroom daily along with health and safety regulations.
- Be able to use an IPAD for child tracking.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom that promotes childhood development and learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices.
Experience
- Experience in the Child Care Industry or Education Field recommended, but not mandatory as you will have 3 days of intense training..
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques and resources.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is beneficial.
- Experience in childcare settings recommended.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.55 per hour
