Job Description Summary: The prop stylist will work with our in-house Multimedia team on photo and video shoot projects for promotional ad campaigns, product launches, and digital assets for e-commerce. You will be handling preparing the necessary props, backgrounds, and other materials needed for creative product photography and videography. Additionally, you will monitor how products and props look on set to ensure the best quality final image/video. You will also assist in maintaining the organization of the studio prop closet and the studio closet digital archive on an ad hoc basis. In addition, The Prop stylist will also assist the Production Coordinator on set and assist with pre-production when necessary. The pre-production duties consist of handling model usage, prep model casting for upcoming shoots, and reaching out to vendors for availability. Assisting the production coordinator aspect of this role will be 30% of the job. Job Description: Know the latest fashion, beauty, and still-life photography trends Research styling references and prepares necessary props for upcoming product photoshoots Conceptualize and oversees the execution of lifestyle photography Work collaboratively on set with the photographer to create lifestyle environments and help establish the look and feel of visual aesthetic Maintain and revises the Brand still life photography guide Regularly update the prop closet digital archive Additional Job Description: Worked as Prop stylist min 1yrs or Prop stylist assistant min 2 yrs Worked in still life or photoshoot/video shoot set collaboratively min 1yrs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to adapt to different timelines for projects Strong organizational skills Ability to collaborate well with others (art director, photographer/videographer, etc.) Must be comfortable being on your feet for 8 hours Great listening, writing and communication skills Have enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about the production process knowledge of prop rental locations is a plus Experience with cosmetics product photography styling preferred Knowledge of prop rental locations is a plus Previous PA experience is also a plus Experience with texture swatching is a plus but not required Experience with photo and video gear is a plus but not required
