We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. This role is based at our Support Center in Bellevue, Washington, and reports directly to the Accounting Manager. As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will oversee the accounts payable process, ensure timely and accurate payments, maintain financial records, and provide reports to management. You will also lead a team of accounts payable clerks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processing invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy and ensure timely processing of payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies or other concerns.
- Prepare checks or electronic payments for approved invoices, ensuring proper authorization.
- Monitor accounts payable budgets and expenses to align with company financial goals.
- Prepare regular accounts payable reports, such as aging reports and financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions with vendor statements, addressing discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Update and maintain the company’s accounts payable systems and software.
- Train and manage accounts payable clerks, fostering a productive team environment.
- Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and other departments to streamline operations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of managing accounts payable in a multi-state, multi-entity environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred.
