JOB SUMMARYThe Lab Assistant is responsible for maintaining the KCC lab facilities in a manner which optimizes lab course delivery. Will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the lab and assisting instructors with lab courses.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following (other duties may be assigned): Maintains and organizes the lab materials, supplies, and equipment.Ensures that sufficient materials and supplies are available for lab courses.Sets up labs for courses including assembling necessary materials and equipment.Cleans and returns materials and equipment after lab course(s). Replenishes materials and supplies as necessary.Assists instructor with provision of labs/monitoring of students during lab coursesHelps in the preparation of various teaching aids. During lab classes, directed by lab instructor to assist students with lab assignments. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Frequently moving from stationary sitting positions to standing and walking.Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift up to 50 pounds
