NOTE: we are not looking for a mechanic or individuals with only automotive service experience at this time.
We are growing and are looking for an experienced person who can achieve quality work while meeting deadlines, to join our team. Our facilities are heated and air conditioned - avoid the summer heat.
The RIGHT candidate will have experience working in an automotive repair shop at a car dealership / independent auto body shop OR extensive training from accredited school in auto body repair. AUTO BODY REPAIR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. If you do not have experience as an auto body repair person, working on multiple wrecked / crashed cars weekly, in a company environment, this position is not for you.
We are not a production shop, we focus on quality repairs for our customers. Technicians are paid on "flat rate" system. Individual needs to know what he/she is doing and be able to do it exceptionally well. Knowledge of repairing wrecked vehicle from start to finish is ideal. Frame repair experience is not needed. Willing to take care of the right person; but not looking to train a newcomer. No overtime or weekends required except on rare occasion. Willing to consider a flexible work schedule (4 x10) for right candidate.
Must be a reliable employee with your own set of tools. Must be a dedicated professional with documented, relevant experience, and the ability to follow direction and work effectively with others, all while meeting deadlines for repair completion. Qualifications :
2-3 years minimum experience as an auto body repair technician required
Ability to repair wrecked cars based on previous experience, and perform the duties outlined
Ability to read and understand a repair order / estimate and comprehend information while following instruction
Ability to work independently with minimal instruction; accepting of feedback when received and adapts when needed
Manual dexterity
Tools to complete repairs
Good judgment
Valid driver’s license
High School diploma or equivalent

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Repairs vehicle per estimate and according to manufacturer standards and company quality standards.
- Check parts against estimate and ensures proper parts are ordered and received.
- Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
- Documents additional parts and labor required to perform a proper repair.
- Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised delivery time.
- Team player willing to assist others when needed / asked

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
